Celtic circle knot box

This round wood box has a beautiful interlaced celtic knotwork circular design on the lid.  Open it up and there’s a knot on the inside of the lid for a surprise!  Excellent for either a man or woman who loves knotwork design, fantasy, or historical items.  The box is a good space for jewelery or small objects.

The box is approx 5.75″ round, and stands approx 2.5″ tall.  It is constructed of wood, and has a removable cover. Coloration on the lid is brought about entirely with handmade pyrography applied by the artist using a heated pen to create shading and shadow. It has been treated with a light coat of oil to bring out the grain of the wood, and polyurethane to protect the design.
